A Little Birdie Told Me

Dawn at The Feathered Nest once had a post of a little bird she made that was the inspiration for these little cuties. A little different from Dawn's, but still adorable, no?  These were made with air modeling clay and painted with acrylic paints.

Music from the 1800's

I love to think about all the souls who held these books in their hands and sang praises to the Lord!

Eunice Life Lessons

Eunice

When my friend Karen used to work with me, we created a fictitious character named Eunice that we often said we were going to refer nasty customers to.  "Let's refer this one to Eunice."  The one constant about Eunice was that she suffered from "irritable bowel syndrome" due to the stress she suffered on the job.  We began to do art projects about Eunice and that theme remained throughout.  These photos are acutally of projects my friend, Karen, made for me.  She has the ones I made for her.

I believe this was the first one. Eunice at the Dollar Store.

Ready for the Junkpile

These shoes are the sure sign of a lot of junkin miles.  You'll be happy to know they have now been "retired".

1st Annual Hillsville, Virginia junkfest

This was MY first annual trip...not THE first event.  My dear friend Karen and her mom have been going for years and this year they allowed me to tag along with them.  I had sooo much fun that I'm sure it's going to be an annual event for me in the future.  Here's a picture of us at "Lovers Leap" on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I hauled home a lot of booty as well as memories.  I'll share some of them with you.

Steppin' Out

I'm very excited to finally have a blog of my very own.  Primative in design....yes.  Uncertain as to what it will become....most definitely!  But at the very least I finally have a place where all my blogging friends can find me.  Onward and upward!
