Pretty Little Houses All In A Row

I got this idea from Karla at http://karlascottage.typepad.com/karlascottage/2008/02/short-cuts-and.html.  It looked like so much fun, I thought I would try a few little houses of my own.  Here's what I've come up with so far.  Only 3 are finished....the rest are in the "works".

Annual Hillsville Flea Market

Finally took a few pictures of things I found at Hillsville Flea Market.  Most were for the bathroom.  Funny, it wasn't planned that way.  Yikes...I can't get this photo right side up!  This was a very very old stand that came from a retail store.  It used to hold clothes for sale.  Now it hold my towels.  It has a "key" on it that lets you raise the upper part up and down to the desired height.
I could also see this used as a birdcage holder.

I was told that this was a "pee pot".
I'm using it for hand towels next to the bath, an stuck in a little sachet packet.

And finally, my new little "TP" holder.  It's the perfect size
to hold one spare roll of toilet paper.  Now I just need to
get to Micheal's and buy a stencil.  I want to put
TP on the small one and perhaps Towelettes on the other.

Halloween

I know this post won't make me the popular girl in blogworld...but I just have to say something.  It has been eating away at me.  Most of the authors of the blogs that I read, claim that they are Christians.  If so, then how can you, in good conscious, promote this evil pagan holiday?  There is nothing, nothing at all Godly about this Holiday...just the opposite, it is saying that all things evil and vile are worthy of being worshipped.  My God tells me to have no other Gods before him.  He is a very jealous God.  Yes, I love to decorate and have fun just as much as anyone, but this is one Holiday I just can't get behind.  I look forward to Thanksgiving....now there's some pumpkins I can get into!

Annual Hillsville Flea Market

One of us is not related.  Blood related. Can you guess who?
This is my best friend Karen and her mom...and yes, that's me in the middle.
I made the hats for us and hoowhee did we get the compliments on them.
Photos of my goodies to follow.
